Who is the Pod Professor?

My name is Jordan Rothstein, and I am the Pod Professor.

I created this blog as an ex-smoker who has been freed from the burden of tobacco through a series of specific devices…

Pod-based Vaporizers

After being heavily against smoking as a child, (both my parents smoked) I eventually fell victim to the temptation in my freshman year of college.

I smoked my first cigarette.

This seemingly harmless act of curiosity quickly blossomed into a full-blown, pack-a-day addiction to cigarettes.

I had tried just about every style of vape available at the time, and always ended up right back where I started.

The vapes I tried just had too many variables: Infinite flavors, different wattage settings, fancy LED screens, a TON of maintenance…  All just to replace one addiction with another.  It just didn’t seem worth it.

I swore off vapes, declaring that when I did finally quit this nasty habit, it would be cold-turkey.

That was until a new style of vape was created.  One that eliminated MANY of the problems I had had with other vaporizers.

I found the JUUL.

About the Pod Professor JUUL

How the JUUL Changed Everything

Through a combination of technological innovations and clever design, the people behind the JUUL had created a vape that made switching from cigarettes to e-cigs nearly seamless.

And it worked.

The simplicity of the JUUL is what finally allowed me to quit smoking, for good.

However, the JUUL wasn’t perfect.  You pay a premium for the ease and simplicity of those little pods, and although I was no longer smoking, I was still spending nearly as much money on my JUUL habit as I was on the cancer sticks themselves.

There had to be a solution.

First I tried refilling JUUL pods, which definitely saved me money, but it brought back the maintenance issue I had had with previous vaporizers.  Refilling JUUL Pods is a tedious, and time-consuming task.

As I experimented, the JUUL continued to grow in popularity, rapidly becoming the giant we know it as today.

The vaping industry took notice and realized there may be something to that simple design and functionality.  Many more pod-based vapes began to pop up on the market, some of them even solved a few problems vapers had noted with the JUUL.

I was excited to begin trying out the different options but quickly ran into one of the familiar problems I had experienced in the past with vapes.

Information overload.

There were so many vapes to try, so many different e-juices and combinations.

I was overwhelmed and didn’t know where to start.

The Pod Professor Mission

Having used these devices to quit smoking myself, I wanted to share that knowledge with the smokers of the world and help them find an affordable and effective way to do the same.

One thing JUUL got very right, is the ease with which one can switch from smoking to vaping.  The transition process is the most important part, and eliminating extra steps (changing coils, finding the right juice, etc) helps makes the switch smooth and seamless.

Doing research for the right pod vape adds steps to the process, and deters smokers from following through with their plans to quit.

“How do I reduce the research process into a manageable and simple task?”

The Pod Professor.

Through this blog, I’ve decided to take on the burden of finding the best Pod-based vapes and e-juices, so that you don’t have to.

You simply come here, read the thorough reviews I produce, and make an easy decision, all from one website.

No more searching for hours, reading reviews, and taking risks on new products that could be duds.

Simply show up to your Pod Vapes 101 course and the Professor will give you all the relevant info you need to make a smart, and well-informed choice.

We have the power to bring an end to smoking for good.  We just need to clean up the information surrounding these vapes!

In addition to vape reviews, you’ll also find many guides on the JUUL and other vapes.
